About MARILYN OGUS KATZ
Marilyn Ogus Katz was an author based in New York City. Her stories were published in numerous journals, including the Tupelo Quarterly and Hadassah Magazine. Her short story, Life List, won Writer's Digest's best short shorts competition in 2015. A collection of her stories, A Few Small Stones, was published in 2018 by Unsolicited Press. She completed the final revisions on her novel, The Old City, which followed one of the characters from A Few Small Stones back to Eastern Europe in 1939-1940, where he and his family were caught between Hitler and Stalin. Katz served as the Dean of Studies and Student Life at Sarah Lawrence College for almost twenty years and continued as a consultant to the president.
