Douglas Cole, an acclaimed poet and novelist, has published six poetry collections and the award-winning novel The White Field. His work has graced the pages of prestigious journals such as Beloit Poetry, Fiction International, and Valparaiso. A winner of multiple accolades, including the American Fiction Award and the Leslie Hunt Memorial prize, Douglas’s poems resonate with readers, revealing the beauty and complexity of the human experience. He currently teaches in Seattle and continues to contribute to literary conversations through his regular column, “Trading Fours,” in Jerry Jazz Musician.
Summer Stewart, publisher at Unsolicited Press, is dedicated to showcasing exceptional works from unsung and underrepresented authors. A recognized figure in the publishing industry, she was nominated for BookCAMP's 40 Under 40 and won the Wilma Morrison Award for Journalism. With countless poems published in various journals, Summer brings her rich experience in copy editing and writing to the stage, weaving together narratives that challenge and inspire. She is also excited to announce her upcoming book, Mother!, set to be released in December 2025.
